Yes. Each of the five cabins is its own standalone unit with a private entrance, full kitchen, full bathroom, laundry, and a private deck. A shared outdoor deck and fire pit connect the cabins for groups who want to spend time together.
How far are the cabins from Springfield, Missouri?
Galena is southwest of Springfield, roughly 40 miles by road, which works out to under an hour of driving. It is one of the closest riverfront cabin options to Springfield.
Can I rent just one cabin, or do I have to book all five?
Either. Couples and small families book a single cabin. Larger groups, reunions, and float trip parties book several or all five, which together sleep up to 32.
What is there to do at the cabins?
The James River is directly below the cabins for fishing, wading, swimming, and kayaking. Downtown Galena and the historic Y Bridge are a short walk away, and Branson, Silver Dollar City, and Table Rock Lake are about 30 minutes by car.

Beautiful riverfront! We saw lots of wildlife outside, enjoyed evening walks to the Historic Y Bridge, and did a little fishing with the kids. Close enough to the busy attractions without the noise and lights. So peaceful watching the fireflies at night! Great recommendations and communication from the hosts.

We cooked a lot of homemade meals from the kitchen and played games at the large table. We loved that the location is so close to the float trip experiences — but even better, you get your little piece of heaven in your backyard! We fished from the rock island, grilled, and enjoyed the fire pit. An incredible experience we will definitely stay here again!

This cabin has a great location right on the river with easy access and several outfitters nearby for a float trip. The cabin is very clean and well maintained — we have never had an issue and we come back every year to stay here.
