Galena's Riverfront Cabins
Galena is a small Stone County town on the James River, about 30 minutes northwest of Branson. The Cabins at James River Landing sit right on the water at the edge of downtown, so you can walk to a meal, walk to the river, and walk to the historic Y Bridge without ever getting in the car.
The Y Bridge is Galena's landmark: a 1927 concrete bridge over the James that splits into a Y at one end, now on the National Register of Historic Places and open to foot traffic. Guests tell us the evening walk out onto the bridge, with the river below and fireflies along the bank, is one of the things they remember most.
Back at the cabins, each of the five units is elevated above the riverbank with its own deck, full kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. A shared deck and fire pit connect them, so a group can book several cabins and still spend the evening together.

Beautiful riverfront! We saw lots of wildlife outside, enjoyed evening walks to the Historic Y Bridge, and did a little fishing with the kids. Close enough to the busy attractions without the noise and lights. So peaceful watching the fireflies at night! Great recommendations and communication from the hosts.

We cooked a lot of homemade meals from the kitchen and played games at the large table. We loved that the location is so close to the float trip experiences — but even better, you get your little piece of heaven in your backyard! We fished from the rock island, grilled, and enjoyed the fire pit. An incredible experience we will definitely stay here again!

This cabin has a great location right on the river with easy access and several outfitters nearby for a float trip. The cabin is very clean and well maintained — we have never had an issue and we come back every year to stay here.
